I have been wanting to add some structure to my blog so that you all can have an idea on what to expect to see on my blog on different days of the week. It'll also help me to keep a variety of posts on my blog each week. I haven't come up with what I want to call each thing for the days of the week just yet. I plan on trying to have 3-4 post including the linky, which we are starting up again this Saturday at 4:00 so be sure to come by & link up! So the first structured post I'm starting for each week from here on out is "Thankful Thursday". I think it's important to think about all of the things that are good in life & have a grateful heart. So That is what thankful Thursday is all about, if you would like to start these posts on your blog feel free, or if you'd like you can leave a comment letting me know what you are thankful for this week!
This week I am thankful for my precious healthy little boy, Colten. Some people might think I'm crazy for choosing to be a mom so young (I'm 22) but I've always wanted to be a mom & I would have not waited any longer if I could go back & do it over. Colten is the best blessing I've ever received. I know I"m going picture crazy here but it almost brings me to tears to see just how much he has grown so I thought I'd include some of my favorite pictures of him throughout his first year of life. If you have been following me you know that he got really sick just after turning one and it landed us in the hospital for a week, it was the scariest week of my life. To see him so dehydrated & sick it broke my heart. Now he's back to his normal crazy self.. seriously he's crazy & always keeps me on my toes but I wouldn't want it any other way! I'm also so thankful for my wonderful husband whom you will see in the pictures below & my mom & dad. I wish every day we were closer to them. I wish we were closer to all of our family but we unfortunately aren't but that doesn't mean I'm not thankful for them because I am & I love & miss them so much! Being so far from family makes having good friends that much sweeter because they become like family & I have to say I'm so thankful for Heather who blogs over at Heatherly Loves because living in Utah would really stink if I didn't have her right around the corner :).
I miss him being so little! & his smile NEVER fails to brighten my day!
I love these 2 boys SO much! , Colten was only a few days old here! :(
Ok ENOUGH of this sappy stuff =) Here is a picture to make you laugh!
Please let me know what you are thankful for & if you do a post please send me the link you can also email me at kaylascreationsblog@yahoo.com if you'd like.
Have a GREAT week!
-Kayla :)
