DIY Glittered Mason Jars & felt pumpkin

I have seen Glittered Mason Jars all over pinterest & have been wanting to make my own for a while now. To my surprise when I was looking up how people made them, no one that I had found used mod podge they all used a floor cleaner. I make my own floor cleaner, so I didn't have any on hand. But I did have Mod Podge so I decided to use that. Also in a lot of tutorials that i saw they all glittered the outside of the jars, what a mess that would be! I love Glitter but no thanks to having it everywhere! This is so easy it's almost silly for me to show how I made them, but I thought since most haven't used mod podge in their tutorials I would share my quick little how to..

What you will need
Mason Jar
Glitter
Foam Brush
Mod Podge
Ribbon & scissors (optional)

Apply a thin layer of mod podge inside of your jar.

Sprinkle in some glitter & then put your lid back on the mason jar & shake it up till it's all good & coated Then take your lid off dump out the excess back into your glitter & let dry. I found that if you use a fine glitter it dries much quicker & I prefer the look.

I apologize for the length of this post, but I saw this Felt Pumpkin tutorial HERE & I instantly fell in love! I knew that I would be making at least one of these for myself! In fact just a few minutes after seeing the tutorial I got Colten ready to go & we headed to joanns for some felt :). She has a wonderful tutorial that I hope you will go & check out. I did however do mine a little differently. I used a pumpkin from the dollar store as the base instead of a foam ball. I already had this on hand & this way I wouldn't have to deal with cutting the bottom off of the foam ball. I used the same exact method to make my felt circles I just glued mine instead of pinning I cut out little circles glued in half together & then folded it again gluing it one more time on the side & then applying hot glue to attach to my pumpkin. I did not have a nice stick to use so I used a piece of wood that my husband shaped a little for me & then mod podged the wood and glittered it, because who doesn't LOVE glitter? :) I also used felt to cut out the shape of my leaf & then glued it a little at the bottom & pinched it & then glued it onto my adorable little pumpkin! I love how this turned out, it took forever but was so worth it! I think it was so worth it thst I just might have to make another one ;).

I hope you enjoyed what I had to share today, Have a wonderful Tuesday!
