Delcious & simple Donuts from a can of biscuits!
Ingredients
1 can of biscuits
oil
Decent sized skillet or pot
cinnamon sugar (optional, to coat donuts in)
Powdered Sugar & milk or heavy cream if you would like glazed donuts
This is so simple, & a great way to fulfill a craving for donuts quickly :).
Cut the center out of your biscuits, at the time I used a formula scoop
and it was the perfect size, use whatever you have on hand. Heat up your
oil on about medium heat. You don't need a ton of oil just a couple of inches will do.
One way to know if it's hot enough is to flick a little water off of your hand
& if it starts to sizzle in the oil your good to go. Once your oil is good & ready
place your biscuits in, I used the centers too as you can see in the picture.
and fry until golden brown. While your donuts are cooking prepare what you'd like to coat
them in, I used both cinnamon sugar and a glaze. For the glaze just add about a cup of powdered
sugar to a bowl and then slowly add in your cream or milk until you get it as thick or thin
as you like. I found these are insanley good if you dip them in your glaze and then roll them
in cinnamon sugar but of course that's naughty so try that at your own risk =). Enjoy!

Ahhh that brings back college memories. We'd just stick our thumb through the middle of the biscuit and fry thoses babies in our old kettle style popcorn poppers. They made a great late night snack.
Good ol "wop" biscuits, can't hardly beat'em!
