Airplane party Invites & Map envelopes

My memories scrap booking giveaway ends tomorrow! enter here if you haven't :)

My mom & I made the invites & envelopes for my little boy's birthday party so I thought I'd share them with you. I made the airplanes out of card stock, I initially used white but liked the color better. My mom was visiting when I was working on these so she helped out a lot. The hand writing you see in these is my mom's she wrote it out on one piece of paper that had two invites (airplanes) on it & then we just scanned the rest so she didn't have to write it too many times. I love her hand writing I wish I had it. So those were pretty easy I found an airplane template I liked online & then blew it up to size. I can't find the one I used and it looks like I forgot to save it, if I find it I will edit it back in, sorry! For the envelopes we found a free template online, there are a bunch so you can just google it and find which one you like best here are a couple of different ones.. here and here . The nice thing about making your own envelopes is you can make them out of whatever you want, newspaper, comics, scrapbook paper, and in my case I used maps. I just got those free pamphlets from a local restaurant & used the little maps in those. If you have a nice map that would be even cooler but I didn't. Let me know if you have any questions.  :)

I haven't shared any pictures of my little babe recently so I thought I'd share one of him in his pool that we got him for his birthday, he got this one early cause I want him to enjoy it :).

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!
