I'm pregnant!

It's official I'm pregnant! Baby number 2 will be the best Christmas present we could ask for :). My husband & I are so excited. Our little boy Colten will be 1 and 1/2 years old when baby number 2 is born, so it'll be a handful but we are so blessed! We are hoping for a little girl but either way I will be more then happy. I'm going to blog throughout my pregnancy, tell of any cravings or little weird things that happen. So far I've been craving Chicken salad, egg salad, & cheese burger soup! All things I had never made until this pregnancy. I've also been craving broccoli & cheese soup a lot but that's something I've always loved. :) I will have a recipe on my cheese burger soup that i whipped together shortly so be on the lookout for that! So far I've been feeling pretty good, I pee non stop & I"m tired but my nausea hasn't been as bad as it was with my little boy.Though, it is very early so anything can happen. I almost forgot to write about how my husband & I fond out I was pregnant. I didn't take a pregnancy test because I thought I was pregnant I only took one because I was late on my period & it was my husband's birthday. I thought to myself " I can't waste a test, I know I'm not pregnant my period will come any day now..it's just been a little stressful thats why I'm late" Then I thought well if I dont take the test and find out today on my husbands birthday I will be kicking myself for it. So just because it was my husbands birthday I peed on a dollar store test and I sat there and stared at it because I thought I'm going to watch because I know I'm not pregnant! Haha yeah right like 3 seconds went by and my test was clear as day pregnant! I ran down stairs shacking telling Chris I"m pregnant! I'm really pregnant! To this he responded oh yeah maybe you are. (he didn't believe it). So I asked him how many more test do I need to pee on for you to believe me?..3? to which he replied yeah pee on 2 more that arent those cheap dollar store ones & I will believe you. So off to Walgreens I went. I ended up only peeing on one more but that was clear as day PREGNANT too! After a few hours he finally came around and told me, hey your pregnant..to which I replied yeah I know lol.I have some other funny stories as well but I will have to include them in my next post since this is getting so long! My husband is away for 3 weeks for a work trip & when he gets back the week after will be our next appointment & we are excited to hear baby's heart beat because last time we were only able to see it because baby is so young. Since my husband is away I might not be as active on my blog my parents are here visiting for a while & I've got Colten to run around after.
