DIY Candy Airplanes

I can hardly believe it but my son Colten is coming up on his first birthday very quickly. He will be 1 in June, that's next month! Time really does fly. He's such a wonderful little boy, I feel so blessed to be his mommy. My husband has a huge love for airplanes, and it appears that my little boy even at 10 & 1/2 months has already acquired that same love. He LOVES watching daddy fly, work on airplanes in the garage, and even flying a little helicopter whenever he gets the chance! It's so sweet so we are going to do an airplane theme for his very special first birthday. I found these adorable candy airplanes here through pinterest. Gotta love that site :). Caroline shares a wonderful post over on her blog & I love the little gift bags she made, so fun! I thought I'd share my simple and quick tutorial. I will be having many more airplane party ideas as his birthday gets closer and closer. Hope you enjoy!

What you need
Push Pops
life savers
rubberbands
gum

Attach your rubber band to the ring pop by simply sliding it on, then loop your two lifesavers    on & over lap your band around the push pop to make it secure.

Add your stick of gum by sliding it under the clasp on the push pop & your done!
