I got the base of this recipe from my dad, he's a wonderful cook & makes the best chilli :). I always seem to play around with my chilli depending on what mood i'm in & whether or not I want to give it an extra kick of heat or just have it be sweet. You will see just how flexible this recipe is, and easy too. But I promise any way you make it, it is delicious!
Sweet Chilli Ingredients
1 family size can of tomatoe soup
Milk (enough to fill the can once the soup is dumped out)
Water (half of the soup can)
1-2 pkgs. chilli seasoning mix
a few dashes of sriracha (optional)
Brown sugar to taste ( I usually use about a 1/2 of a cup)
1 lb. Ground turkey or beef
1 can of beans, or more if you like. I like to use white northern beans
because they have a light flavor & I'm not a huge bean person.
garlic salt & pepper to taste
Cook off your meat until it's nice and golden brown, I season my meat with garlic salt and pepper along the way. While your meat is cooking fill a big pot with your soup, milk, water, Seasoning mix, sriracha (only if you want a kick so its really sweet and spicy chilli), brown sugar, & beans. When your meat is all browned up throw into your chilli base and let it cook for as long as you can. This chilli can be delicious in as little as an hour of cooking but if you have more time just let it simmer and it will get better and better! Once you serve it up in bowls sprinkle with some cheese, Chris & I love eating this with grilled cheese or chips & queso if there happens to be no bread in the house like last time (oops) :) I hope you enjoy!

That sounds relay good. I am a bean person, so I think I would add a lot of beans to mine. Thanks for the recipe.
