Dye eggs with kool-aid

Did you know you can dye eggs with kool-aid? When I went to the store today to get the supplies for dying some eggs I remember seeing somewhere that you could dye eggs with kool-aid. I thought the concept was so neat & decided to go ahead and try it out! The results turned out great! I don't think I will ever dye eggs with food coloring and vinegar again. It's so simple, smells great & you dont have to worry about your little ones sneaking a sip of something harmful because all you need is koolaid & water!

You will need 2/3 cup of water for every 1 packet of koolaid. Choose your flavor based on the colors you would like. Boil your eggs & let them cool and then place them in your cups & watch them change color super fast! Also if you want a speckled or polka-dotted look just add 1 TBS. of oil to your mixture. Here are my results..

This is the result of the kool-aid and water pretty and it only took a few minutes!
If you want your eggs to have polka-dots like this just add 1 TBS oil to your mixture!

I hope you enjoy if you try this out! Happy Easter Everyone =)
