DIY Popsicles for teething babies

I got this idea when I was looking up ways to soothe a teething baby. My 8 month old little boy is currently getting not only his first tooth but 2 teeth at the same time & to say the least it's been rough. All I want to do is make him feel better so I figured making him little Popsicle would soothe him at least for a little while because he loves sucking on frozen fruit. These were/are a big hit with my little boy & I hope they are for your little ones too! He loves these and it keeps him happy for a while..plus they are good for him! Here is the recipe I came up with..

Strawberry teething pops

1 container Strawberry yogurt for babies
about 2 ounces of formula (you can use milk if your baby is old enough)
handful of frozen or fresh strawberries ( I used frozen because that is what I had on hand)
Popsicle sticks
ice cube tray

Blend all ingredients together until smooth then dish out into ice cube mold, this recipe makes 6 cubes. Stick in the freezer for about an hour then take out and put a popsicle stick in each one then put back in freezer until they are nice and hard for your little one to munch on. I hope you enjoy this recipe!..Here are some pictures of my little one enjoying his teething pop =)

 Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for posting this! It's 1:30 am here. If I'd had these on hand, we might have all been sleeping by now.

that looks really good. The only thing is, my pediatrician told me not to give my daughter strawberries until she is 1 year... everyone I talk to says that's crazy and there is even strawberry baby food! I'll probably give in before a year :)
